OnPay’s payroll software is fast and it does all the heavy lifting.

  • Unlimited monthly pay runs
    Run payroll as often as you like, or even choose multiple payroll schedules for different employees. It’s one cost for everything.
  • All tax filings and payments
    We withhold state and federal payroll taxes each pay run, we make your tax payments, plus we file Form 941 quarterly and Form 940 at then end of each year.
  • W-2 and 1099 workers
    Pay W-2 employees or 1099 contractors. It’s all in the same dashboard, and we’ll generate printable year-end tax forms at no extra cost.
  • 2-day turnaround for most clients
    After a review, most of our clients can pay employees within two days of running payroll in OnPay. A small set of clients will have a four-day window.
  • Pay by direct deposit, debit card, or check
    Pay employees however they prefer. There’s no extra fee for direct deposit or debit card payments, or you can print checks yourself.
  • Multiple pay rates and schedules
    Set more than one pay schedule for your company, or use different pay rates for individual employees. Our fee stays the same however you choose to run payroll.
  • Garnishments
    Deducting garnishments from net pay just takes two extra clicks. You can set rules or goals for when garnishments should stop. We record them in paystubs and expense reports automatically, even though you make the payments yourself.

Additional fees and fine print

Practically everything we do is covered in our monthly fee. The only exceptions are:

  • Clients can self-print and distribute W-2 and 1099 forms for free, but we charge a small fee if you want us to print and mail them for you.
  • We charge insufficient funds fees if you can’t cover the cost of a pay run.
  • You pay for any health, retirement, or workers’ comp policies you choose to add on.
